Elementary

Upper elementary can be a giant step for students. They are learning to take more responsibility for their own learning. They have expectations for learning to work independently with their teacher checking on them often and helping as needed, but no longer sitting beside them reminding them to do their work. Teachers strive to help students develop a love for learning. As the saying goes, " reading is like breathing in; writing is breathing out."

- Rachel Pamplin, 9yo Teacher
