QSIM Middle School - At a Glance

The middle school program at QSIM places students in active group learning environments that support the development of 21st Century Learning skills including collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Middle school is such a transformative and often challenging time in children's lives. One thing I love about QSI is that the class sizes are small and classmates really begin to seem like a family - sometimes we fight but, ultimately, everyone is accepted and supported for the person they are. It can be magical to see children from all different backgrounds laughing and learning together.

Academically, middle school is a time of building upon the solid foundation of elementary school but adding significant academic rigor in preparation for the challenges of secondary school. Students collaborate to explore new ideas and are challenged to think critically and creatively to solve problems.

Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving

A primary component of our middle school program are 21st century skills. Developing these skills helps our student to prepare for a rapidly changing future. Through project-based learning, our students are engaged in authentic, real-world learning situations.
